An Open Letter to Westside Industrial Business Owners / Managers, Valued Members and Partners From the Executive Director:
In these times especially, industrial businesses must know where to get information and resources to help sustain their business operations. Lake Kinzie Industrial is Your dedicated industrial liaison and Your designated business information and resource service provider. We are an independent, tax exempt 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit organization. We have the distinction of being a Chicago Delegate Agency providing business support and information on technical resources. As Your Delegate Agency, we work with several businesses, financial institutions, real estate advisors/ brokers, city and state officials providing a voice and vision for the industrial businesses, conveying their business interests and needs as well as promoting and providing assistance with City and State funding resources, services and programs.

Ø Our Mission is to promote revitalization on the West Side of Chicago through Our Work promoting and attracting sustainable economic investment, improved infrastructure and overall aesthetic, real estate development, business & community development, fostering job creation, business retention and creation. Ø

Goal is
to work collaboratively bringing all stakeholders together to discuss
and address issues, challenges and steps to resolution
that benefit the businesses as well as the overall communities on the
West Side of Chicago.
We have established great relationships the Departments within City of
Ø We Facilitate Opportunities provide resources and the latest information on City, County, State and Federal programs, services and financial resources that help sustain and improve the day-to-day operations of business. Ø We Partner with organizations, agencies and corporations to connect businesses with qualified job applicants, workforce training solutions as well as tax credit and program administration, banking, HR solutions, and many other resources and services businesses have demonstrated a need for. Ø

We Work With &Assist: Businesses
that demonstrate a need for or want our help! We only ask that
you make a donation to help support the great work that we do to help
pay the costs of administering our services that we hope will improve
the your overall and day-to-day experience as a business owner.
Currently we are working with businesses within the Northwest
Industrial Corridor and businesses within our service area on the
Greater Westside. Our service area generally includes the
areas south of Chicago Ave., north of Harrison Street, west of
Kedzie and east of Austin. If you are a business outside
of our service area, we will let you know what agencies and resources
are available to you. Ø
Our
Commitment
is
to help businesses reach their goals and to improve their day-to-day
experience and involvement within the community. Our efforts help establish
constructive & meaningful involvement and hiring from within our
service area communities of Lake Kinzie Industrial is sponsored in part with a grant from the Chicago Department of Community Development and by the contributions of local businesses, individuals, and institutions.
We have the
support of the local Aldermen and the local businesses to move
forward with several new initiatives that were created to address the challenges of
bringing new development and investment in the community, safety and
security and improving the infrastructure. The Value
